23 Aug New Forest Triathlon
As the sporting world continues to recover from a virtually non existent event season, two members of Torbay Tri Club headed to the New Forest to take part in the Challenging Events New Forest Triathon races. GB athlete Gary Burman took part in his first Aquabike event having recently been suffering from an minor injury that has impacted on his running. Despite the injury Gary had an incredible race and had clearly lost non of his drive or performance in a new type of race for him. As an already accomplished swimmer and a strong cyclist Gary finished in an excellent 2nd overall in a time of 3:30:36
New member Holly Mei Jones competed in the standard distance race as her first representation for the club. In a solid performance Holly finished in an impressive time 2:22:34
