Heading north to the town of Clitheroe Cathy Parkinson lined up for her final race of 2019, the Ribble Valley 10k. The fast, closed road race also incorporated the North of England 10k road championship making for an especially tough and fast field of runners. This was further proven by the mens course record falling and the winner finishing in 28.32. Cathy clearly undaunted by the competition had a great race finishing 5th in her age group in 44.22.
