Clearly not weighed down by the mince pies from the previous day, Nick and Davina Cull headed over the Shaldon for the annual Boxing Day Three-legged Race. In their last race of 2019 Nick and Davina arrived ready for the fancy dress judging dressed in western cowboy and saloon girl outfits. Neither having trained for the 1.7 mile race, made an impressive start leaving The Ness in a strong position. Both quickly realised the pacing strategy was required for the beer provided at every pub along the way and not the actual running race. Tied together throughout, not a drop of beer was spilt leaving Nick and Davina finishing back at The Ness for the final beer in a strong position. Although no finishing results are provided the entertainment factor was the winner on the day.
