Weekend Rides

Every Sunday we meet at 8am at the Wighton Pub, Torquay for our weekly club ride. There are three groups to suit different paces and goals — just join whichever suits you on the day.

Inclusive

Easy pace

Coffee stop included

A relaxed ride with a mid-ride coffee stop — great for those building confidence or enjoying the company.

Fun

14–15 mph avg

Coffee stop included

A steady-paced group with a coffee stop along the way — good for those looking to ride with others at a consistent effort.

Focused

15–17 mph avg

No coffee stop

Focused on zone 2 training with company on longer rides. No planned coffee stop — bring your own fuel.

What to bring

  • Helmet (no helmet, no ride)
  • Mobile phone
  • Basic puncture repair kit and pump
  • Water and snacks
  • Windproof layer
  • Working lights if riding in low light

All rides are led by a qualified ride leader. They are not coached sessions. Full details are posted on our Members Only Facebook group – Torbay Triathlon Club | Facebook , and rides are always subject to weather conditions.

 

Non members are welcome to have 3 free taster sessions on our social rides before committing to membership.
